MAYOR SUKHDEEP KAUR
The Emeryville City Council appointed me as a Councilmember with unanimous support in February, 2023. I was re-elected in 2024 and appointed Mayor in 2025. It is a great honor and privilege to serve the city that has been my home for 16 years. Guided by the values of public service and volunteerism, I am passionate about advancing meaningful solutions that enhance the quality of life in our community. I strive to leverage my professional expertise, lived experiences, and personal dedication to help build a sustainable, stable, and safe city—one that is accessible and filled with opportunities for success.
